May 2018 Team Advocate

Meet Naomi Hart

In an effort to showcase our amazing team members and allow you to get to know who we are, we are running a “Team Advocate of the month” to show you our bunch of people and celebrate their skills.

So here is our May Advocate….

Are you a morning person, or a night owl?

Neither! I am that person that hits snooze after snooze before I get up each morning not matter what time I go to bed! I never miss the opportunity for a long sleep in or early night! I’m the grandma at the party who after a few drinks will finish the night off with a warm cup of tea- if I’ve even managed to stay up that late!

Tell us about some of your favourite books or movies, and why you love them? (

I love love love a good easy read or personal motivational book & romantic comedy. Some of my favourite movies would have to be Love Actually, The Holiday, 10 Things I Hate About You, 27 Dresses, 50 First Dates, Sweet Home Alabama & He’s just not that into you.

What are 3 things still left on your bucket list?

Officially I don’t have a ‘bucket list’ I do however have a little notes page going in my phone of places I want to visit, & every time I see or read about somewhere that I have never been before & it captures my attention it goes on the list. It’s been a while since I have been in here to cross anything off, but my top 5 places on the list are The Kimberly’s, Peth WA, Banff Alberta Canada, New York & Lichfield National Park. The most exciting part is later this year I get to cross one, maybe two of these off my list 😊

What podcasts are you currently listening to? Why do you like it?

I am still only relatively new to the podcast world, but I’ve had these in my ears for about 12 months now & I couldn’t imagine my life without them! Any chance I get I will pop my earphones in to listen, even if it’s just to clean the house, while I’m at work, going for a walk or just chilling around home. My absolute favourite is Mamamia Out Loud & I listen to this religiously twice a week on Wednesday & Friday’s. Some others I listen to regularly are from Mamamia also; Lady Start Up, No Filter, I don’t know how she does it, The Well, the list goes on really! I also really enjoy Ladies we need to talk & out of the loop! I’m always very excited to find a new podcast so if you have any recommendations send them my way please!

What’s your #INSPIRATION… What motivates you to show up at work and ROCK IT?

There are two important things that inspire me to come to work every day & they are 1. That I can help my clients to the best of my ability successfully achieve their business & personal goals & 2. I have the ability to mentor our junior staff members & watching them grow into extraordinary accountants!
